“There is nothing that can refresh the earth more than rain. It settles the dust, washes the trees and shrubbery clean, puts sparkling diamonds on the grass and brightens the colours of the flowers. It clears the atmosphere and perfumes the air.
The cattle brighten up and the birds start their singing. Life begins anew after the refreshing that comes with the rain. That which is tired and weary, because of the dryness and heat, is suddenly refreshed, and it gives all the earth a new beginning.
My people need this same new rain. It has been a long time since I poured out the Holy Spirit in a mighty way upon flesh. There have been some small showers, but the drought is so great that I am now preparing a great cloud of glory and blessing for my people.
I want to encourage you to believe for this rain. You can have it in your life; and I will send this rain cloud with you wherever you go. The result will be that many who are weary will be refreshed, and many who are discouraged will start to hope again. Sparkle will come into many sad and drooping lives.
Come close to Me. Seek My face like Elijah did, and I will send this glorious rain into your ministry. Not only will you be refreshed, but others will be refreshed through you. It is time to cry unto Me for the rain. The season of rain has come—even for I want to now prepare the great end-time harvest.” —Jesus
