“The woman is not My last creation by mistake. She is the strongest, the most loving, the most sacrificial. I do not call everyone who believe in Me My Bride by mistake. The love I require is a love of complete surrender and dependency to Me. Jael risked her life to save an entire people. She reached a place where she could say ‘If I perish, I perish.’ And with every ounce of courage, love, strength and faith within her, she drove the tent peg into Sisera's temple. But she was not always that woman. Do you see that horizon? There lie the shame, the fear and the rejection she carried through the years. Do you see the shadow on the swing and the grass? That is My shadow. I carried her through the valley of the shadow of death. And as she was walking with Me, I trained her hands for battle. Now she is the woman you see: beautiful, loving, compassionate and fierce. You can become that too. Just let Me take the wheel. I love you.” —Jesus
“He trains my hands for war; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. You have given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and Your humility [gentleness] exalts me.”
(Psalm 18:34-35)
“Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.”
(Psalm 30:5)
“The Lord will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand. (...) While he was sleeping from exhaustion, Heber’s wife Jael took a tent peg, grabbed a hammer, and went silently to Sisera. She hammered the peg into his temple and drove it into the ground, and he died. When Barak arrived in pursuit of Sisera, Jael went out to greet him and said to him, “Come and I will show you the man you are looking for.” So he went in with her, and there was Sisera lying dead with a tent peg through his temple!” (Judges 4:9, 21-22)

The Story Behind The Painting:
This painting was created as a commission for the Luz Art Gallery exhibition at the 2026 Venice Biennale. Our curator asked me if I could make a painting depicting a field, with pink as the dominant color. I said yes. But maybe because I was very tired, I did not feel emotionally ready to receive a complete image from God. I found myself doubting that He would truly give me an entire vision, almost as simple as placing an order and receiving it immediately. After several days of resisting, I finally came before Him and asked. The first image that came to my mind was a picture of myself taken in Hungary. On the picture I am seen from behind, sitting on the grass and I am looking at a night sky. Another day, I was in my bedroom in the dark, but a light was forming an arch on my blanket. I felt that God was leading me toward painting a dawn horizon – the moment where sorrow (darkness/night) gives way to joy (light/morning). This is how the first elements of this painting were revealed to me.
